Friday Countdown

Well, its almost here! And I am not just speaking about the weekend but Sunday worship. I am excited about what God is going to do this Sunday at KP. The Lord has given me an exciting message that I am calling "What is God doing presently to prepare His people for heaven?" Just like we see signs of apostasy everywhere daily pointing to the horrific things that are soon to take place on earth. I also believe God is doing things right now in the body of Christ getting His church ready to live with Him in heaven and to rule with Him on earth for a thousand years. What an exciting time this is to be alive!

I am asking that you come to God's house this weekend with a great expection and anticipation! If we will do this, He will not let us down. We will walk away satisified and filled with the blessing of God in or lives and needs will be met. Last weekend we had several reports of "great healings" (see Amy Toney, danaamy2001@yahoo.com) due to the powerful presence of God in our midst. I hope you don't mine Amy...but you got a great praise to declare!

There are some prayer requests that have been on my heart lately...please help us pray for the following brothers and sisters: Penny Richardson, Anna Hilton (in the hospital), Phyllis Titus (believe God with us for healing of cancer), Linda Apke (recovering from surgery), Perry Mayerle (back), and Mary Morris. I also appreciate your prayers for my dad and mom. God is taking care of them. Today is their 49th anniversary! Happy anniversary mom and dad!

You will notice the sanctuary Sunday is beautifully adorned and ready for our missions conference coming up (thank you Chris, Carmen, and Gerry). I am asking you to get ready as well! Already, a liberty of generous, giving to missions has come upon our congregation. I am expecting a "great outpouring" of God's heart upon the people of Kings Point before, during, and after the missions conference. I can hardly wait for Sunday!

See ya Sunday!
