Sunday Wrap Up

What a day! What a long day, but a good day! During Sunday School, I met for one final time with our School of discovery graduates: Mike Amburgy, Amy Toney, Rachel Boegeman, and Crystal Dayton. I love these people. What a great job they have done over the last year. Each of them shared their visions for their cell ministries today. Some of them have already began their cells. I love people who once they are equipped want to go to work!

Sunday morning worship was a great service. We were down in attendance today but the presence of the Holy Spirit was awesome. I appreciated everyone that joined with us in special prayer for the church. I really believe God is going to meet the need at hand.

Afterwards, we had a very productive Council meeting. Next Sunday evening, we will hold our annual church business meeting. We lose two council members: Don Allen and Tim Johnson. I really appreciate these gentlemen. They have been very faithful and have excellent cooperative spirits. We will miss them. However, I am sure God will give us two equally great men to replace them.

As soon as the council meeting was over, Gabe and I grabbed a sandwich and drove over to Tri-County. We attended a recruitment training session for parents and potential college recruits and then back to the church for our service tonight. We had a wonderful communion and prayer service tonight. Not a bad crowd considering all the people we have gone.

Well, it was a great day of worship. I hope you enjoyed it also. May God bless you all!
