Friday Countdown...How God Has Used the U.S. in Iraq (part 3)

Hello everyone. Below I have concluded my three-part series on how God has used our country's presence in Iraq. Too often we adopt the opinions of the media regarding what is happening outside of our own local community. The major problem with that is the media doesn't report on what God is doing because the media for the most part is blinded to such things. We as believers our children of the light and must see the world and what is happening in the world through a different lens.

I pray that you have a wonderful weekend. In just a few hours, I have to have some oral surgery done. Hopefully, my mouth will be fine come Sunday morning. Love you all!

TO BRING THE GOSPEL LIGHT TO A LAND OF DARKNESS

There is no question that the Gospel is being preached more in the Middle East today than any other time since the New Testament days. When the American soldiers went to Iraq so did the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the ministry, charity, and testimonies of soldiers, chaplains, and Christians in businesses, agencies and non-profit organizations; the gospel light is shining brighter in Iraq and in other countries throughout the Middle East.

Because of America's presence in Iraq now, other countries are sending missionary teams to Iraq and other Middle Eastern countries. A few years ago, the country of Khazikistan sent 5,000 Christian youth into Islam Middle East countries to preach the good news of Jesus Christ. The Christian church in China is sending missionaries as well as countries in Africa to the Middle East. In spite of increased persecution in many of these countries, the gospel of Jesus Christ is being preached and many Muslims are being converted to Christianity. Reports of entire Muslim villages and small towns are coming to Christ after seeing visions and receiving dreams of Jesus.

It has been said that if the United States military pulled out today, the foundation has been laid and the gospel message will continue to increase across the Middle East. Did President Bush and the American government realize that the kingdom of God would increase through the war in Iraq? I really don't know. Nonetheless, God has always used world leaders, governments, and nations to accomplish His will...and His will hasn't changed; "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9 KJV
