Some Saturday Thoughts

I just left the church to pick up some gifts and then head home for dinner. Then back to the church for tonight's children's musical. I watched the dress rehearsal this afternoon. I am always amazed at all the work that goes into these things. And how these kids (and adults too) memorize all their lines. I think so many times people see plays or musicals and just don't realize all the hours that go into not just what they see on stage, but the costumes, the sets, etc.

I hope you plan to join us tomorrow. It ought to be a great day. I want to thank everyone who has made the widows and fatherless Christmas dinner possible tomorrow. All of you that gave in offerings and to the staff, Pastor's Council, and their wives that will be serving tomorrow. I really hope this can be a annual event and in 2009 we can even do more for our widows and fatherless families. Also, I ask that you remember them in your prayers as often as possible.

have a great weekend!
