Friday Countdown

Merry Christmas everyone! I trust you have had a good week. Annette and I try to take the first week of December off and visit family and get all of the Christmas shopping done and decorations up. We've had a prosperous week!

Please remember Gary Kilburn and his family in your prayers. You may have heard that Joy (Gary's mom) passed away a ittle after midnight this morning. For the past few years since her husband's (Wayne) passing, Joy has not been abble to get out much due to poor health. Before that, Wayne and Joy would attend at Kings Point with Gary whenever their health allowed. I will always remember Joy's beautiful smile and her pleasant personality. Joy has now been reunited with her husband and of course with Debbie Kilburn who often came and cared for Joy.

Joy's funeral service will be at 1 pm at Kings Point this Tuesday with the visitation from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. A dinner for the family and close friends will follow the burial at Kilburn Lodge. Pastor Rob Mason and I will be officiating the service.

I am looking forward to Sunday services. I haven't ministered the Word now for the last two Sundays, so I am anxious and ready. As usual I am still seeking the mind of the Lord regarding the messages Sunday. Please join me in prayer for our services this weekend. These are trying times and more than ever God's people need the presence of the Lord and a word from the Lord. Encourage your family and friends to come with you this Sunday! Let's come expecting.

-Pastor Randy
