Sunday Wrap Up

It was a great day! Every Sunday is a great day. I really mean that. I enjoy Sundays...the worship, the fellowship, and the rest (mine usually comes on Monday). I feel sorry for people for which Sunday is just a day off to do work around the house or do some kind of recreation. When I am not in God's house on His day, I feel empty, misplaced, kind of out of sorts.

This morning's service was great. It felt good to just have church without any kind of special emphasis or presentation. I enjoyed preaching on the power of the spoken word of God. It is a message that needs to be heard and practiced by us all.

Even though we had a lot of people gone this morning and tonight, tonight's communion service was also a great time together. I appreciate everyone who gave in the special benevolence offering tonight. We really do want to minister to our widows and fatherless. Please pray that we as a church will do a better job in this area.

Have a great Monday!

Pastor Randy
