Friday Countdown

Well, the weekend is almost here. It should be a great weekend!

My brother and his family are coming down tonight to see Gabe play against Kings tonight. He, Debbie, and their daughter Vanessa will be in a martial arts program Saturday morning in Lawrenceburg. They are a part of a powerful ministry that shares the gospel while demonstrating martial arts skills. Its pretty cool!

Tonight's Kings-Little Miami game promises to be a big one! We have a lot of families in the church that are alumni or have kids that attend Little Miami or Kings. Many of these families are going tonight. The game this year has state playoff implications so there should be a great crowd as well as lots of tension in the air. Gabe (a junior) does all the kickoffs for Little Miami and is the backup field goal and P.A.T. (point after touchdown) kicker. Jared Centers, Jason and Sherry Centers son, is the starting nose guard on defense for Kings. Jared is an excellent young man who is in his senior year and playing his last regular season home game tonight. Both teams are having great seasons, but may the best team win!

Be sure to join us this Sunday for what will be a wonderful time of worship! Come anticipating a great visitation of the Holy Spirit. We need His presence and we desperately need to His ministry to us this Sunday. These are times that we need His direction, His comfort, and His power! Please make it a priority to be in God's house Sunday@
