Will you believe the Lord's report...God's Word? Or, will you believe the report of another? We used to sing a chorus called "Whose Report Will You Believe?"
Today, I visited with Debbie Kilburn in the hospital. Last night she called me after an exploratory surgery and shared with me the result of the procedure. It was not good. Without getting into it, it was a very negative report, full of fear and death. However, Debbie did not react in fear but in faith. After I hung up the phone, I shared with Annette the result of the report that was given to Debbie, but I also shared with Annette how Debbie was still full of faith and trust in the Lord's report.
When I went to visit her today, I was greeted with something I did not expect. Debbie shared with me that her Oncologist after tucking in her child for bed decided she needed to come back to the hospital and talk to Debbie. So at around 12:00 midnight, she walked into Debbie's room and shared with her that she thought Debbie would be fine. She assured her that they did not see any tumors and she expected her to be okay. Now that was the report of the Lord that Debbie had held on too and was expecting to hear all along.
Please remember Debbie, Mike, and their family in your prayers. They are not out of the woods, yet. However, once again they have learned not to believe the report of the enemy. Keep believing, keep trusting, keep persevering in faith and hold on to the report of the Lord. It will be manifested..."and ye shall have it" saith the Lord.
Mark 11:24 "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them]."
