Some Saturday Insights

What a great time of prayer the men cell leaders had this morning. God has raised up some strong, spiritual male leaders at Kings Point. Besides our men cell leaders: Gerry Chess, Tim Johnson, Ken Brumfield, Frank Jones, and myself; we have several men who do a great job leading children and youth cells or Sunday School classes...Dakota Manning, Doug Taulbee, Tim Orr, Dave Dayton, and Jon Dayton. We also have faithful men who serve on our Pastor's Council such as Amos Money, Don Allen, Danny Flinders, and Mike Amburgy. We have other men who are active serving in the church but have chosen to prepare themselves even more by going through our School of Discovery (cell and leadership training) such as Chris McBeath, Jacob (Israel) Ross, Jeff Brumfield, and Brian Griffin. We also have John Bauer who leads our rescue mission ministry and Bob Dooley who assists John as well as other men who come and serve at the mission. James Garrett leads our senior adult ministry and has recently began a jail and prison ministry. Mark Bauer works in our bread ministry and serves in many other capacities especially through the winter months. We also have men who serve as ushers and greeters and who help in so many other ways.

In a day when men often are very passive and do not take an active role at home or in the church, God has blessed Kings Point with a group of great men who love God, their families, and their church. Please pray for our men leaders. Pray for our church and pray that God send even more laborers to work in His harvest.

See you in the morning!

-Pastor Randy
