Sunday Wrap Up

Good evening everyone! I have been under the weather today. I made it through this morning with the aid of the prayers of the saints. Tonight, I tried to get some rest and went to the pharmacy for some advice in what take for a head cold before flying tomorrow. I appreciate Brother Ron Thomas who shared the message. Its nice to have capable ministers in your church who are ready without much prior notice to preach. I'm sure Ron did a great job and Mike also in running the service. I sincerely appreciate them both.

This morning, God did some wonderful things in our altars. I know of at least one young girl, Mary, who received Christ into her life. I know that there were many others who were blessed, encouraged, healed, strengthened, and their lives changed in the altars this morning. I am thankful that I pastor a church who still believes that God can meet with his people at an altar or prayer.

I know I don't say it enough, but a sincere thanks and appreciation to all of Sunday School staff and teachers and our children's worship ministries led by Debbie Jett. Also, Lori Dooley who heads our nursery ministries. Lori has made a lot of great changes that have really enhanced our nursery ministry. We are fortunate to have great, dedicated workers in our Sunday morning ministries outside of the worship service.

Also, we recognized Brian Griffin today, our music minister. Thank you to everyone that gave in an offering to Brian and Melanie. Please hold them up in your prayers.

Everyone have a wonderful week. Thank you so much in advance for remembering me in prayer this week. I hope to sharing some e-mails and maybe some pix with your from Germany.

-Pastor
