Meeting the Needs of People....in a Lousy Economy

Seriously, Kings Point is in the business of helping people. I have no doubt that things are going to continue to get worse, with or without a stimulus bill. America's corporate greed and our wickedness is what has put us in this position and the only answer is national repentance before the one and true Almighty God. So far we don't see that happening.

As a church, in the days ahead and we want to put ourselves in a better position to help meet the basic needs of people. We want to do a better job of helping the needy, provide food for hungry, visit the sick and those in jail and prison, provide for widows and the fatherless, and do what can to help people get jobs. If you would like to participate in any of these efforts, please let me know. As we do this, we will point people to Jesus Christ as the real answer to their every need.

Now, for "our not so serious suggestion." Our Top Ten list on "Ways to Cut-Costs in a Lousy Economy."

#7 - Get with someone you know well and put your heads together like Corina and Debbie and try this (you may have to watch this a few times to appreciate it). It just may save you $$$. But then again, probably not...but you might feel better.

Have a great day!
