Beginning this coming Sunday, we will be hosting a conference called "Discerning the Times" featuring Evangelist-Pastor, Scott Kazee, from McArthur, Ohio. Scott's in-depth research and study along with an obvious prophetic anointing has prepared him to share a series of messages that are sure to raise your awareness level regarding what is going on in the world today. Scott combines God's Word with current events (many of which will be exhibited by video)that helps his audience hear and see for themselves the evidence behind God's revealed Word.
America is changing before our very eyes. President Obama has kept his word. He is changing almost everything quickly. I have always said that I believe Obama and possibly some other world leaders might be the forerunner to the Antichrist...there just getting things ready for him. The devil always countefits everything God does. He's not too good about coming up with anything new. Obama and possibly a few other world leaders are the John the baptizers of the last days. By the time Obama finishes his first term, I think you will see that he and his progressives will have us ready for a one-world economic, government, and political system...if America survives until then.
Why do we have conferences or series like this? Believe me, its not to scare anyone or even to alarm them. But it's to help us live a godly life and to get prepare for the coming of Jesus. In the parable of the ten virgins, five had oil and five did not. The five that had oil even though they were sleeping were ready when the midnight call came. However, the five without oil were not ready. When they went to get the oil, he came. I really believe only one-half the church will be ready when
Jesus comes. I don't say this lightly or proudly. It grieves me greatly to know that people who are good, religious people are not prepared for the coming of Christ. That's why I preach the way I do every Sunday...to send out the warning and to blow the trumpet before its too late. The oil in the virgin's lamp represented the Holy Spirit. I sincerely believe believers must be controlled and filled with the Spirit if we are going to be ready when Jesus comes. What about you? Are you being led by the Spirit or your flesh? DO you do what you want to do or what God's Spirit wants you to do?
God help us to awake and fill our vessel's with the living Spirit of God before its too late.

The Purpose of the Holy Spirit Baptism (and video from the men's encounter water baptisms)
The videos below were taken Sunday featuring the baptisms at our men's encounter. This brief water baptism service took place after a service in which all 46 men present received the baptism of the Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.
The purpose of Holy Ghost baptism is not to speak in tongues but for the following: 1)the POWER OF GOD TO KEEP YOU CLEAN, WHOLE, SANCTIFIED. 2)to put the FIRE OF GOD burning in you! Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and [with] fire: 3)to give you the BOLDNESS OF GOD in you! Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.(Power to be a witness for Christ!) 4)so that the GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT can flow through you! 1Corinthians 12:7-11 "But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another [divers] kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will." 5) so that the PERSONALITY OR CHARACTER TRAITS of the Holy Spirit can change you into a man or woman controlled by the Spirit of God. Galatians 5:19-23 "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." 6) Holy Spirit LEADERSHIP. John 14:16 "I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, who will stay with you forever. John 14:17 He is the Spirit, who reveals the truth about God. John 14:26 "The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and make you remember all that I have told you." John 16:13 "When, however, the Spirit comes, who reveals the truth about God, he will lead you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own authority, but he will speak of what he hears and will tell you of things to come."

Sunday Wrap Up
I am sorry if you get tired of my same old opening line every Sunday evening. But today was a unbelievable day! Forty-six of us filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The love between the brethren, the unity, and the fellowship was "out of this world" kind of stuff. Then, we got to baptize some guys in the muddy lake at the campgrounds. What an awesome privilege! I would have loved to have baptized fifty people. What a blessing! And then the vision and the celebration services were awesome. What a great crowd at our celebration service. Thank you so much to all of you that came. It really meant so much to the men. And what powerful, life-changing testimonies! Men confessing to their wives and promising to be the man of God in their family. Wow! We don't like to reveal to much from the encounters but we may display some of the "safe stuff" sometime this week on this blog.
Please, please continue to pray for Ryan Sparks. Right now, he needs a miracle. We need people to intercede in prayer day and night. God is able to raise Him up! Lets pray in faith and believe God to do what the doctors say that cannot be done. Also, please remember Dana Flinders who is still in the hospital.
Good service tonight! With all that's happened this weekend, people were worn out. However, I appreciate those that came out and really worshipped. Brother Tim Orr delivered a powerful message on marriage from Ephesians 25. It was good!
Well, have a wonderful week!

Will the Sleeping Giant Sleep or Awake?
From the American Family Association:
America's most basic freedoms of speech, conscience and the free exercise of religion are under attack and the time to act is now. If President Obama succeeds with his priority of passing the Hate Crimes law, H.R. 1913 - the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act, it could lead to the criminalization of the Biblical view of homosexuality in sermons and elsewhere. An offended homosexual could accuse a pastor, Sunday School teacher or broadcaster of causing emotional injury simply by expressing the Biblical view that homosexuality is sinful.
H.R. 1913 is one more step in the campaign to legitimize homosexuality in our culture by treating it as a protected class along with race, gender, and religion. The long term goal is to create one more platform from which to eradicate wrong thinking about homosexuality. H.R. 1913 will undoubtedly pave the way to legislation that will make thinking Biblically about homosexuality a "hate crime."
We believe prosecutors and anti-Christian groups will use loop holes in the proposed legislation to muzzle the church from speaking out on Biblical standards of morality which are shared by most Americans. Unnecessary lawsuits will bring a chilling effect to the free speech and religious liberty of our churches and of our members.
Laws already exist in all 50 states to punish violent crime, making this legislation unnecessary, unfair, indefinable, un-American and constitutionally suspect.
Laws in civilized nations have always been designed to punish conduct, not thought. H.R. 1913 is not designed to aid in crime fighting. Punishing wrong beliefs about homosexuality is the sole aim of H.R. 1913 - the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act.
Just some quick thoughts...
1) I have always said and believed that Christian persecution in America would start with the Homosexual community. The reason for this is that most of the homosexual community is very proud of their liberty in sin and perversion and detests the law of the Word of God. Always, when you see Jesus approach a proud arrogant self-righteous person with the gospel, He gave law before grace. Always. With the law He broke the hard heart, with the gospel He healed the broken heart. Why did He do that? Because He always did those things that were pleasing in the Father’s sight. God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.
2) If H.R. 1913 goes through, public articles or messages such as this will some day be breaking the law and yours truly could be criminalized. If that happens, I predict the devil will wake up the sleeping giant in America known as the church. Why do I believe that? Because the jails won't be able to hold the Christian preachers and laity in America that will awake and preach even more against the abomination of homosexuality. If he's smart, he will keep rocking her gently and let her sleep which is what I think will happen. And not so much because he is smart but more because he has made this mistake many times before throughout church history and remembers that he loses and God wins every time. So, we will see.

The Power of Prayer and Fasting
I have been in meetings the last couple of days and have not been able to blog any. Tomorrow, the men encounter leadership team begins our three days of fasting and prayer. I am really looking forward to my time with the Lord during these days. I believe in the power of fasting and prayer. First, I love what God does in me during a fast. He makes me so much more focused and tuned in to the spiritual realm. My mind is clearer and crisp. My thinking is sharper. During my fasts as I join with others that are fasting, I begin to see the fulfillment of Isaiah 58 (see below) in my life and in others.
"The kind of fasting I want is this: Remove the chains of oppression and the yoke of injustice, and let the oppressed go free. Share your food with the hungry and open your homes to the homeless poor. Give clothes to those who have nothing to wear, and do not refuse to help your own relatives. "Then my favor will shine on you like the morning sun, and your wounds will be quickly healed. I will always be with you to save you; my presence will protect you on every side. When you pray, I will answer you. When you call to me, I will respond. "If you put an end to oppression, to every gesture of contempt, and to every evil word; if you give food to the hungry and satisfy those who are in need, then the darkness around you will turn to the brightness of noon. And I will always guide you and satisfy you with good things. I will keep you strong and well. You will be like a garden that has plenty of water, like a spring of water that never goes dry." - Isaiah 58:7-11
Jesus said that there are some demons that can't come out but by prayer and fasting. I really believe that. I think that if we as God's people would pray and fast we would see all kinds of things happen in our lives that we only dream about because of a lack of fasting. Encounter weekends are powerful because of fasting and prayer. I was in a meeting today with Pastor Mitch Maloney of North Cleveland Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee, and he was speaking about how he has seen many lives changed in his church through encounter weekends. Just imagine what we could see happen avery Sunday in our churches if God's people would just pray and fast? You really don't have to wait for an encounter weekend.
Have a wonderful day!

Sunday Wrap Up
Hey everyone! I Hope you are doing fine. What a wonderful day today. I had a great expectation before the day started and I think the day lived up to my expectations and more so. I didn't anticipate the Holy Spirit moving like He did in the service this morning. He was pretty awesome! I think God really touched some people this morning. I got blessed by watching a lot of people be blessed. Some of you that are reading this may not know what its like to be in a church service where God's Spirit moves liberally and God's people don't worry about the time or about offending someone. Its pretty fun!
The widows ceremony this morning was just a great delight for us. I don't know who gets the greater blessing...us or the widows. Everytime we do something for them they are just so grateful and gracious. They are a beautiful group of people. And wow, my mom really surprised me by showing up this morning. I really apreciate my sweet sister-in-law, Debbie, for bringing her by this morning. It was great having Mom there especially to participate in the widows ceremony.
Tonight we honored our volunteers with a fellowship dinner. That too, was a lot of fun and a great time. The abbreviated service afterwards was good. It blessed me to see our young kids tarrying around the altars praying for one another. I really believe God has some great worship services in store for us in the weeks ahead including the men's encounter. Its only gonna get gooder and gooder...to quote the great Tim Johnson.
Everyone have a wonderful week!

Friday Countdown...Which Came first the Christian or the Disciple?
Act 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Did you know Christians were known as disciples or followers of Christ first before they were called Christians at Antioch? Today, I dare to think that most church attenders including some KP people think that being a disciple is optional and what really counts is being called a Christian. Such thinking is false, scripturally unfounded, and even dangerous.
In Acts 2 after Jesus' ascension, we see the offical start of the church with the great outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the upperroom. One-Hundred and Twenty followers of Christ were filled and "went forth proclaiming the gospel, teaching (making disciples)and baptizing in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." (Matthew 28:19 paraphrase)
Everywhere they went they converted people to Christ and made disciples. They didn't just attend church services, they weren't just good moral people, and they didn't care whether they were considered conservative right-wing evangelicals...they were simply focused on folowing after the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So much so, they(the world) called them "Christians" first at the church of Antioch.
Our calling is to be followers of Christ or disciples, and if we are fortunate people will look at our lives and call us "Christians."

The Latest Threat to America's Homeland Security
[Warning...the following article is probably being monitored by a watchdog group or groups somewhere. And if you are one, please read I Timothy 2:1-4 and know we are not your enemy. We love and pray for you!]
With Mexican drug cartel gangs in Atlanta and Ha mas terrorist training camps throughout the U.S., you would think America's Homeland Security would have better things to be concerned about than Christians.
Yesterday, the news carried a story about the head of America's Homeland Security's concern from what she called the growing threat from the "Extreme Conservative Right" movement. Believe me, she wasn't referring to "abortion clinic bombers." She is referring to you and I, evangelical Christians who believe what God's Word says about abortion, homosexuality, pornography, and other prevalent social issues over what mainstream culture says and believes. This statement is just one more among a growing number that are made by government leaders feeling as if they need to warn the public against we Christians who really believe God's Word and have the audacity to state what it believes in public. Personally, I would think that Homeland Security would have thousands of true extremists groups to worry about before Christian Conservative-Right groups, but I guess not. Of course, the real reason they are concerned about us is the influence that American pulpits still wield throughout this nation on any given Sunday morning. And not only that, but the persuasive powers of Christians in public mediums on radio, television, and especially on this particular one...the Internet. My guess is eventually they will try to limit and if possible extinguish our voices all together so that theirs is the only ones that are heard by the public masses.
This is just another sign of the rapidly growing Anti-Christ spirit of our day. It's just sad the we now see and hear it so openly spoken among our U.S. government leaders which is paid for by our tax dollars. Am I worried? No. I'm not even concerned about it. You and I know what our future is and even though we may go through a few trials on the way...better things are ahead for God's church. Again, these are exciting days. People are hungry for the gospel message. Jesus will soon return. Satan knows he doesn't have much time left and that's why his kingdom is so worried about us. So what else is new?

Behind the Shaking
There is no doubt that God is shaking the nations in anticipation of the greatest harvest and revival in history. The glory of the last church will be greater than the early church (Haggai 2.9). A “Shaking” is always a sign that God is on the move.
Reasons Why God Is Shaking the Earth Right Now
1. Harvest time
“It shall be like the shaking of an olive tree, like the gleaning of grapes when the vintage is done” (Isa. 24:13 NKJV).
Harvesters shake an olive tree to harvest it. They even beat the top branches with a stick. God is shaking the bush right now, and 2009 will be the “Year of the Harvest.” We are believing for a Pentecost harvest in 2009 as our family members and friends become hungry to be in the kingdom.
2. The fear of the Lord
“When the people saw it, they trembled and stood afar off (Ex. 20:18 NKJV). Israel came out to Mount Sinai on the third day of fasting. The mountain shook and was on fire. The shaking produced a reverence and fear of the Lord they had never known.
Belshazzar, king of Babylon, shook when he saw the handwriting on the wall (Dan. 5:6).
3. Awakening the bride
“But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept” (Matt. 25:5 NKJV). As the church, we tend to fall asleep spiritually. Empty prayer closets and dusty Bibles are a sign of distraction. A lot of people blame the government or corporate greed for the decline of the American economy. But we as God's people must look in the mirror first. As the church goes, so goes the country. A shaking is needed to awaken the church to its real spiritual and moral condition.
4. Shifting the status quo
A shake-up is a removal of some who have disappointed and replacement by a new team. It is a time of realignment. God is doing a spiritual shake-up in nations, economies, and leadership. This will make for incredible opportunities for people who have never dreamed of influence. The status of every believer is going to change in this shake-up.
5. Satan is losing.
“Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him” (Mark 9:26 NKJV). Satan always shakes before he breaks. He knows that his time is short, and he is not on the move, but on the retreat. The gospel is advancing on all continents and is even moving into the 10/40 window. The Philistines ran in terror at the shaking of God (1 Sam. 14:15).
6. Deliverance is here.
“Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed” (Acts 16:26). God had to shake the prison to remove the shackles. You have been sitting in private bondage, and this shaking is a sign that your moment of deliverance has come. This has happened to thousands of people during our Encounter weekend retreats over the last five and one-half years. I believe that a nationwide encounter movement will soon sweep across this nation as God's people become hungrier for God.
Praise God, good things are ahead for God's people!

Sunday Wrap Up
Easter service this morning at KP was wonderful. Several we know of came to Christ and possibly others. Also, we had some others in attendance this morning who came to Christ during the Easter Egg Hunt service. Praise God! Seeing people saved and discipled is why we do what we do.
Well, Annette, Gabe, and I got to go home today after dinner. We've been out of our house for awhile. It felt good to be home again.
Brian and the choir did a wonderful job today. No, it wasn't anything fancy and it wasn't a big production. But it was what we wanted to do. I appreciate Brian and the choir for their hours of practice and their leadership in praise and worship. Our praise and worship time is so important to everything we do in a worship service. It really does allow people to drink from the Spirit of God. As we do that, it prepares the heart to receive the seed (the Word of God).
May God bless you! Have a wonderful week!

Good Friday...Living out the Life of the Cross by TIm Orr
As I am writing this blog I am reflecting on the meaning of the Cross, which is a truth has been by and large lost in America Christianity. The truth that Jesus died for the sins of the world may be embraced, but it is what the cross represents to us today, the reality of which must be lived out in our lives that has been lost. Jesus said, “If anyone comes after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow me.” Instead we have chosen in our day to let moralism to take its place. Conservatives have chosen family values, while liberal Christians have chosen social justice. Consequently, to be Christian, echoing the Deist Thomas Paine, is simply “to do good.”
When America Lost its Way
American Christianity lost itself in the malaise of moralism following the Second Great Awakening. It was there where the shift from theology to morality began, and the reason for this shift was because of the rise of non-denominationalism. Protestants of all stripes sought to lay down their gauntlets and vowed to work feverishly for a Christian America. Since Christians of all stripes wanted to bring about this end, doctrine needed to take a back seat, and common ground had to be sought. After all, how could the issue of infant baptism or Armenianism vs. Calvinism be reconciled? Those issues had to be laid aside in order to pursue the greater good.
Is it Really about Moral Values
All of this begs the question: Is Christianity simply a set of moral values one is to live by? Our de facto response to this question is, unfortunately, a resounding yes. However, moralism puts confidence in the flesh, which was the very thing that the Apostle Paul warned Christians not to do. This is precisely what G. K. Chesterton had in mind when he said, “The cross cannot be defeated, for it is defeat.” Defeat in that we die to self and now rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to live the Christian life, rather than by our own fleshly efforts. This means that, as the Apostle Paul points out in Galatians, our goal in the Christian life is to be crucified with Christ and seek to die so Christ can live through us. Combating the idea of moralism to the exclusion of the cross, C. S. Lewis points out, “Jesus did NOT come to make bad people good, He came to make DEAD people live!” What Christianity is about, and what Jesus desires to do, is to transform each individual to reflect His character and nature.
It’s about Transformation
The cross is the entry point by which this transformation comes about. However, the life of the cross has been redefined. As A.W. Tozer so eloquently stated, “The old cross slew men; the new cross entertains them. The old cross condemned; the new cross amuses. The old cross destroyed confidence in the flesh; the new cross encourages it.” Maybe this outlook of what the cross represents is why American Christianity has made so little an impact in the last several decades.
The Message for Today
Yet, it is the life of the cross that enables Christians to live out the reality of the resurrection and thus bring change to individuals and churches. When this takes place, the nation is changed. The point of the life of the cross is to grow to the point where self denial no longer becomes self-denial, but rather fulfillment. What we need today, to quote Vance Hayner, is men [and women] of the cross, with the message of the cross, bearing the marks of the cross.”

Just Some Personal Stuff
Just a personal update...Annette, Gabe, and I are having some flooring laid this week in the house. So its been a week of tearing out a lot of old flooring to get ready for the new. Man, are we sore. Before the spring break week started, I had a long list of things I wanted to get done. So far, I am 0 for 15, except for the flooring which wasn't on my list anyway...I guess you can guess whose list it was on.
Gabe had a kicking lesson this morning and goes back to work today after a little time away from work. Tomorrow, I will be getting ready for the Good Friday service. I'm really looking forward to this service as we together focus on the cross. I encourage you to ask God to give you a fresh revelation of the cross this Easter season. It seems like every encounter God gives me a fresh glimpse of the cross of Christ. I have come to agree with the apostle Paul more and more that I am to preach "Jesus Christ Crucified." It's the central message of the Bible.
I am excited that I already have at least one family coming to Easter service this weekend, possibly another couple coming Friday night. I have never seen people so open to the gospel. Again, please, please, I encourage you to be inviting people to come with you this Sunday or Friday evening. Remember, if they say no, they aren't rejecting you. But I really believe they may very well say yes.
Have a great day!

Who's Your King Today?
I Samuel 8:6 But when they said, "Give us a king to lead us," this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the LORD. 7 And the LORD told him: "Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king. 8 As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you. 9 Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will do."
This is the first time that God's people officially reject God as their king. What a statement by God, "...they have rejected me as their King." One of the most painful things we can go through as humans is when someone we love greatly rejects us. Of course, this happened again when Jesus came to earth. He too, was rejected by God's people. And still today, God's people reject Him choosing to be their own king or selecting someone or something else to be king of their lives.
As the story goes, God gave Israel over to their own desires and it didn't work out. It never works when we choose to reject God and choose another instead.
Who is your king? I didn't ask where you go to church...or how long you have been a Christian. Who is the king of your life today? Who will you receive your marching orders from today? Who sits on the throne of your life?

Which Jesus?
WHICH JESUS Do YOU SERVE??-
by Brendon Powell
There seems to be more than one Jesus to choose from these days.
Which one is the true Jesus and who am I following?
· There’s a ‘seeker friendly’ Jesus, he’s the one who will not
offend anyone in anyway. He loves everyone no mater what they do.
· There’s a ‘sow and reap’ Jesus, he made a covenant with man
so that man could sow his seed and reap wealth and happiness on
earth and then go to heaven when he dies.
· There’s a ‘blend in with the world’ Jesus, he wants us to look
like, act like, and be like the world in order to reach the lost.
· There’s a ‘neverending grace’ Jesus, his ‘grace’ covers us no
matter what we do or how we live.
· There’s a ‘just believe’ Jesus. As long as you truly believe
in your heart, you’re saved.
· There’s a ‘name it claim it’ Jesus. You name it; anything and
it’s yours! If you don’t get it, it’s because you lack faith. It’s your fault.
· There’s a ‘carnal’ Jesus. He doesn’t expect you to overcome
sin, he understands you’re just carnal.
· There’s a ‘heart dwelling’ Jesus. All you have to do is ask
him into your heart and voilĂ , he’s there. You’re going to heaven!
Truth:
· There’s the Jesus who said “Repent and believe the gospel,
the kingdom of God is at hand.” -Mark 1:15
He said, “Deny yourself, take up your cross and follow Him.” -Lk 9:23-25
He said without Him you are already condemned. -John 3:18
He said He came to save the world -John 3:16
He said unless you forsake all you have, you cannot be His disciple.
-Luke 14:33
He said if we love anyone more than Him we are not worthy of Him.
-Matt 10:37-39
He said if you love this life you’ll lose it. -John 12:25-26
He said you cannot serve God and money. -Matt 6:24
He said fear God who can destroy both body and soul in hell. -Mt 10:28
He said be extreme in your war against sin. -Matt 18:8-9
He said love God with all your heart, soul and mind and your
neighbour as yourself. -Matt 22:37-39
He said He is the light of the world. –John 8:12
He said the gate is narrow and the way is difficult and few find it.
-Matt 7:13-14
He said those who believe in Him but work iniquity will be
cast out. -Matt 7:21-23
He said you’ll be hated for His name’s sake, but if you endure to
the end, you’ll be saved. -Matt 10:22
He said I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to
the Father but by Me. –John 14:6

2009 Easter Egg Hunt
The Easter Egg Hunt and service was great! We had about ten "connect cards" (salvation cards) turned into us. A lot more people than that came forward and said the sinner's prayer excluding the altar workers. Almost 600 people were counted in the sanctuary not counting the hallways, parking lot, and people in other areas. So we estimate around 700 people attended the Easter Egg hunt.
MORE IMPORTANTLY, the gospel was shared with hundreds of unsaved people and only heaven will tell the real success of the event. Praise the Lord! BIG THANKS to all of you who helped pull this off! You were all wonderful. You smiled and you displayed the love of Jesus. Sometimes, thats not always easily done...especially when you have a few parents here and there who will go to blows if little Jonnie or Janie doesn't get what the think they deserve. But thats what being Christlike is all about...letting Christ's love shine even in the midst of conflict. SO THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU THAT SERVED TODAY AND DID UNTO THE LORD!
Of course, Debbie Jett and Lori Dooley are just the best...the dynamic duo! They did such a great job organizing this year's Egg Hunt. We had plenty of workers and we were all well-prepared. Great job too to Dakota and the Victory Station Praise & Worship and Drama teams.
Lets have a great day of worship tomorrow! Give God your best! -Pastor Randy

Tips on Sharing Christ with your Neighborhood
For some reason, I have not been able to pull up our website the last few days. I don't know if it was just me or if others have not been able to get on. Anyway, we are here.
Tomorrow is the Easter Egg Hunt. Please be in prayer, even if you cannot attend. Pray that people receive Christ and make life-changing decisions to follow Christ. Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to help in some way. Our KP family has come through as always.
I want to encourage you to go out of your way and share Christ and invite your neighbors to church for Easter services. People in general our looking for answers right now. They are more open than ever. Right now is a good time for us to sow the seed. Below I have listed some tips for inviting your neighbors to Easter services. Pray and the Lord will go before you. God will bless your effort.
Tips on Using Hand Written Invites to Your Neighborhood for Easter
Here are some tips to introducing your neighborhood to Christ:
• Purchase inexpensive blank stationery.
• Hand write a simple invite them to the service (time, date, location).
• Include your first and last name, your address, phone, and email. This shows you’re not some random crazy person.
• Include an invite card that has a map to the church.
• On the outside envelope, write: “You’re Invited.”
• Place the invitations on people’s doors. Don’t knock. Don’t harass anyone.
• As you walk your neighborhood, pray that God would connect with the people you are trying to reach.
• Expect some of your neighbors to respond!
See you Saturday!

Worms, Viruses, Fastfood, and Eggs
Well, I got a little time to write some before I go to bed. Due to the worm warning, I have pretty much stayed away from my computer today. I have gotten computer viruses before that pretty much ruined a computer I owned once. I have a lot of people send me forwarded e-mails. But I hardly open them. For one, I don't want to take the time to open all the forwarded e-mails I get, and secondly, I am afraid that my computer will get infected. Wow, you know I could preach a sermon right here, don't you? But I won't. I'll let your figure it out.
The Easter Egg Hunt prep is going well. I really think we are going to have a great day Saturday. Most of the fast food restaurants and stores on highway 48 have donated prizes. It really does feel like a community egg hunt with so many different businesses and people getting involved. I really appreciate everyone that has been coming by this week and helping with the prizes and getting the eggs together. You folks are all great in my book. I would name each of you but I'm afraid I would leave someone out.
Well, I better go! Have a great Thursday!
Love, Pastor Randy
